OLXer pernah tahu berapa banyak seseorang memiliki koleksi muscle car atau mobil berotot? Dua, tiga, empat atau 10 unit? Mungkin jumlah tersebut masih tergolong sedikit,karena jika dibandingkan dengan Rick Treworgy, dia mempunyai 200 unit muscle car.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ya, saking banyaknya koleksi muscle car milik Treworgy, dia mendirikan Museum Muscle Car City, yang berlokasi di Punta Gorda, Florida, Amerika Serikat. Setidaknya, museum ini berdiri 14 tahun lalu. Menariknya, semua\u00a0 koleksi Treworgy merupakan brand dari General Motors.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Namun begitu, seperti dilansir Carbuzz, Kamis (28\/1\/2021), Treworgy berencana ingin pensiun dan menutup museum pribadinya tersebut. Dan kebetulan\u00a0adanya pandemi Covid-19 membuat rencanya setahun lebih cepat, dan\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>membuat dirinya mantap untuk tidak meneruskan operasi museumnya20.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lalu bagaimana dengan 200 muscle car tersebut, apakah ditelantarkan?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tentu tidak, koleksi mobil khas Amerika Serikat (AS) dijual melalui rumah lelang Mecum, termasuk model 48 Corvette dari berbagai generasi, Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac GTO, Chevrolet El Camino, Oldsmobile 442, dan beberapa mobil berotot yang sudah dimodifikasi, termasuk mobil yang dibuat khusus untuk kebutuhan film Charlies Angels pada tahun 2000.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Perlu diketahui pula, bahwa koleksi pria asal Amerika Serikat tersebut bukan kaleng-kaleng. Sebab, Treworgy banyak\u00a0 memiliki muscle car langka, salah satunya adalah Chevrolet COPO Camaro lansiran 1969 dengan warna eksterior Cortez Silver dan interior Vinil Hitam.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Untuk jantung pacu, muscle car tersebut sudah dibenamkan mesin berdaya 427 tenaga kuda, dan jarak tempuhnya baru 43.000 mile. Soal harga mobil ini ternyata laku terjual hingga US$ 297.000 atau sekitar Rp 4,2 miliar. Harga ini hampir US$ 100.000 lebih tinggi dari perkiraan.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Selain itu, salah satu koleksi Treworgy yang juga cukup langka yaitu Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 lansiran 1970, dengan balutan warna Cherry hitam dengan garis putih, dan interiornya dibalut dominasi warna vinil-coklat. Mobil yang satu ini laku US$126.500 atau setara Rp 1,8 miliar.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Beberapa mobil koleksi Treworgy yang dijual melalui lelang antara lain Chevrolet Chevelle Z16 yang hanya ada 201 unit dibanderol US$187.000, kemudian Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 2020 terjual US$121.000, hingga Corvette L89 Convertible dengan harga US$209.000.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nah, itulah beberapa mobil berotot yang jumlahnya banyak dan hanya dimiliki satu orang, walau akhirnya dijual. Kira-kira OLXer tahu nggak siapa lagi yang lebih banyak punya muscle car?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
