About the role

We are seeking an experienced Crewing Supervisor to join our team at PT. Pelayaran Guntur Line' in North Jakarta, Jakarta. As Crewing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the recruitment, placement and management of our vessel crew. What you'll be doing

Manage the full crew lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management

Coordinate crew assignments and scheduling to ensure optimal crew composition and availability

Maintain accurate crew records and documentation in compliance with industry regulations

Liaise with captains, department heads, and other stakeholders to understand crew requirements and address any issues

Develop and implement crew management strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance crew satisfaction

Provide guidance and support to the crewing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in crew management

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a crewing or crew management role, preferably within the maritime or shipping industry

Strong understanding of crew management processes, including recruitment, training, and performance management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with crew, captains, and other stakeholders

Proficient in data analysis and reporting to track and optimize crew deployment and utilization

Adaptable and able to handle multiple priorities and changing requirements in a dynamic environment

Fluency in English and proficiency in Indonesian, both verbal and written
