PETRONAS TUTELA DEF is a ready to use high-purity Diesel Exhaust Fluid (also known as AUS 32) delivering optimized performance and component durability for vehicles after-treatment systems, developed for vehicles with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, to reduce soot and NOX emissions in diesel engines, to meet latest emission regulations’ stringent requirements.

PETRONAS TUTELA DEF is a 32.5% urea solution in de-mineralized water, colorless and biodegradable, certified according to ISO 22241 to guarantee high-quality standards.

DEF/AUS 32 fluid is a reducing agent, injected into the SCR system, releasing ammonia to react with NOX, transforming them into nitrogen (harmless gas) and water, hence reducing pollutant emissions.

PETRONAS TUTELA DEF is suitable for passenger car, light and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, buses, agriculture machineries, construction, and mining equipment.

Do not mix the product with water or any other additive, especially Diesel fuel to avoid damage to SCR system. Never fill the Diesel tank with DEF/AUS 32 (or vice-versa): this could damage the fuel injection system.

Refill interval depends on driving style, vehicle type and fuel consumption.
