Kata Emak (which means "Mother's Words" in Indonesian) is a fast-paced card game inspired by a classic everyday experience in Indonesian households—being sent by your mom to shop at the local traditional market!

In this game, players become kids tasked by Emak (Mom) to buy specific items from the market: fresh meat, tempeh, eggs, crackers, water spinach (kangkung), and fish. But be careful—buying the wrong item or spoiled groceries will get you scolded by Emak!

Kata Emak is a game of speed, focus, and accuracy. Players must race to gather the correct items as instructed. The first player to complete Emak’s shopping list correctly wins the game.
