About the Role

Scentus is building Indonesia’s first smart perfume vending machine, combining IoT, mobile apps, and cloud infra in a first-of-its-kind product. After building the platform solo, the founder is now looking for a senior developer to take over core development work—focusing on campaign-driven features, new integrations, and long-term code reliability.

This role is high-ownership, fast-paced, and technically challenging. You’ll work across Flutter (mobile) and Golang (backend), shipping directly impactful features while also refactoring and improving existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend the Flutter app and Go backend.

• Build APIs, screens, and flows based on marketing, sales, or B2B requests.

• Meet campaign deadlines with tight turnarounds.

• Review and refactor fast-built code for long-term maintainability.

• Collaborate on system architecture and internal tooling improvements.

• Suggest better practices, observability, or test coverage improvements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in both Flutter (Dart) and Golang.

• Experience building scalable APIs and user-facing applications.

• Strong debugging, code review, and refactoring skills.

• Startup or solo-founder product experience a big plus.

• Familiar with AWS, Firebase, CI/CD, or Kubernetes (bonus).
